Scholarship Coverage

• Accommodation: A monthly allowance of CNY 1,000.
• Stipend: A monthly stipend of CNY 3,500 to cover living expenses.

   • For programs taught in Chinese: HSK 5 with a minimum score of 210.
   • For programs taught in English: IELTS 6.5 or higher if from non-English speaking countries

Documents Required for Zhengzhou University

Applicants must fill in the Application Form and submit the following documents:

1. CV:
   • The latest CV is required to have Complete Educational and professional information. How to Write a Curriculum Vitae (CV)?
2. Passport:
   • A valid passport for at least one more year.
3. Degree Certificates and Transcripts:
   • Original or notarized copies of degree certificates and transcripts from both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized translations.
4. Research Proposal:
   • A statement of research interest and a research proposal (minimum 2000 words) with proper referencing. Contact potential supervisors to discuss the proposal before submission.
5. Recommendation Letters:
   • Two letters from professors who know the applicant well, including their contact information.
6. Language Proficiency Scores:
   • Official HSK, TOEFL, IELTS, or other language test scores.

   • A Foreigner Physical Examination Form with blood test reports, valid for six months.
8. No Criminal Record Certificate:
   • Original or notarized copies.
9. Additional Documents:

Application Deadlines

ZZU has two intakes each year for the President Scholarship:

• March Intake: Application period from October 15 to December 15 of the previous year.
• September Intake: Application period from March 1 to June 15.
